- Follow the instructions on the app screen to connect your GoPro to your home Wi-Fi.
- Exit the app and connect your phone to your home Wi-Fi.
- Return to the GoPro app when your phone and camera are connected to your Wi-Fi. Auto Upload should now be ready.
- Make sure your camera is off before plugging it into a wall outlet. The upload will start automatically if the battery is at least 70% charged. If not, the upload will start as soon as the battery is charged to 70%. After this first-time setup, your camera won’t need to connect to the app to start Auto Upload.
- You also have the option to manually offload the footage. All the steps above are the same, you simply go into Preferences > GoPro Subscription > Manual Upload and the upload will begin. This can be helpful if you prefer to keep Auto-Upload off and decide when you want footage uploaded.
