MAX - HERO Mode and 360 Mode

Make way for MAX, the most creative GoPro ever. With MAX, you are able to shoot traditional HERO-style video with unbreakable stabilization or capture immersive 360 footage and never miss a shot. Take pano shots without the pan, choose between digital lenses and thump the best 360 and stereo sound we’ve ever had. 



Switch Modes
To switch between 360 and HERO Mode, tap the icon in the lower left corner of the screen.

HERO Mode
HERO mode User-added image lets you shoot traditional videos and photos with either the front (non-touch screen side) or back lens (touch screen side).

1. Tap User-added image to choose the lens you’ll be using.

2. Press the Shutter button User-added image to start recording.

PRO TIP: Choose HERO mode and the back lens to frame and capture awesome selfies.

360 Mode
Use 360 mode User-added image to capture amazing spherical footage. View and share it as 360 content or use the GoPro app to reframe it as traditional videos and photos.
 
1. 360 mode captures everything around you, but you can tap User-added image to choose which lens view will be shown on the touch screen.
