How to find your ReelSteadyGO log file

by GoPro on ‎05-29-2020 05:16 PM - edited a month ago

Sometimes when troubleshooting ReelSteady GO issues, you might be requested to send a log file to GoPro's Customer Support to get a closer look into your environment.

The following steps explain how to retrieve the log file on Windows and macOS:

Windows

Your log file can be found at the following path, replacing <username> with your account name/login:

C:\Users\<username>\LocalLow\SuperMegaLLC\ReelSteady GO\output_log.txt

Heads Up: If Windows is installed on a drive other than C: you will need to change the path to match.

macOS

  1. From the Finder app, select "Go" then "Go to Folder..."

Finder > Go > Go to Folder...

  1. Type the directory path: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/

  1. The log file will be called "Player.log"
