by GoPro ‎09-30-2019 05:33 PM - edited ‎10-08-2019 01:01 AM
What are you trying to do?
View media in the GoPro app and add/adjust gauges/stickers while creating edits on the fly.
Where does it apply?
  • GoPro App - iOS and Android

How to do it?
iOS & Android

This method works for HERO cameras that support telemetry and also GoPro MAX(HERO mode ONLY). There are currently 5 stickers available in the app:
  1. Altitude
  2. Speed Chart
  3. Speedometer
  4. G-Force
  5. Path
  6. GoPro Logo

Step 1 - Open the GoPro App, connect your camera to your device and open the camera roll.
Step 2 - Select one of your videos that was recorded with GPS enabled, select User-added image (Android) or User-added image (iOS) and tap "Save/Download to App".

Step 3 - Once the File has been saved to the app, exit the camera roll and open the media gallery - User-added image . Under the "App" tab, select your GPS enabled file.
Step 4 - Tap  User-added image to open the editing adjustments and select "Stickers" at the bottom.

Step 4 - Tap on a sticker to add it to your video, then drag the stickers anywhere around the video. You can also remove them by dragging them down to the trash can icon which will appear at the bottom.
Step 5 - Once you've added your gauges, you can trim your videos and also extract still images as well with gauges added to your edits. Press "SAVE" to complete your edit!
