GoPro App - iOS

Version 6.2.2 (Released 11/6/2019)
  • Fixed an issue on 2GB RAM iOS devices (like iPhone 8) and GoPro MAX where one cube of spherical media was not being rendered properly. Please note: media gallery thumbnails for previously downloaded media will not be updated. But media playback should work properly.
  • Resolved a few of the more prominent crashes in the GoPro 6.2 and 6.2.1 releases.
  • Improved performance when trimming video footage from GoPro MAX cameras.
  • Videos created in Reframe are now saved to app with GPS information in the files. Meaning users can now add stickers to videos created from Reframe!
  • 360 photos now have Horizon Leveling applied automatically. 
  • Better error handling for low memory devices and GoPro MAX 360 modes.
  • Made some thread management improvements that result in the GoPro app using less battery than previous app versions.
  • Fixed a couple issues rendering OverCapture from Fusion 360 Photos.
  • Resolved a bug preventing export of Reframe from TimeWarp videos that contain a Freeze Frame moment.
  • Minor usability and UI enhancements in media playback.

GoPro App - Android

Version 6.2.1 (Released 11/6/2019)
  • Fixed image quality issues with specific devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855/845. 360 playback no longer displays black or white artifacts.
  • Resolved several workflow issues where 2D photos grabbed from 360 Media or OverCapture videos were rotated incorrectly.
  • 360 photos from Fusion are now displayed in their proper orientation during playback.
  • Memory management improvements that could prevent some devices from sharing multiple 360 files. 
  • Resolved many of our top crashes in the GoPro 6.2 release.
  • Addressed several usability and UI issues in Reframe and 360 trimming.
  • Fixed an intermittent issue where Auto-Offload would not fetch new media.
  • Improvements to playback and zoom quality during zooming, particularly noticeable on PowerPano photos.
  • Live streaming to YouTube on Android 7 devices has been fixed.
  • Resolved intermittent black playback issues with 360 video playback on Pixel 3 devices.
  • Improved localization in camera preset menus.
