Sometimes the Mac would need a USB port reset to reactive several hardware settings.
- Choose Apple menu > Shut Down.
- Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Shift + Control + Option + Power Button.
- Hold the button combination for about 5 seconds and release them all at the same time.
- Turn on your Mac.
Method 2
Also, please make sure the file structure organization is exactly the same structure when recording on a formatted card. For example, users might tend to change the folder name "100GOPRO" to another naming convention. At which point, Quik for desktop will NOT allow to have the user import the files through the application.
Please make sure to change back the file structure to "100GOPRO" in order to have the files be imported through Quik for desktop. As a reminder, you must use a micro SD card adapter to change the file folder name.
