Hello @kailashgt. A camera replacement to HERO9 Black may not be possible. You can contact the retailer you purchased the camera from for your options. If it was ordered at gopro.com, you may reach out to our Support Team through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs to initiate a callback request or chat with one of the representatives.
As for the issue with overheating and battery drain, make sure that a recommended SD card is used for your camera. Using SD cards that aren't recommended can cause issues like freezing as the card isn't fast enough to write the content, the camera getting hot or battery consumption is higher than normal as the camera stays in an active mode trying to sync to the card.
Reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can also help correct any errors with the current software installation. Using an SD card adapter, connect your microSD card to your computer and follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229
Additionally, performing a factory reset in the camera may help.

Hello, @kailashgt. Which resolution settings were you using in the camera? For cameras that feature unique high-performance video modes: 2.7K and higher resolutions, and/or frame rates above 60fps, it is normal for the camera to become warm and use more power when using these modes. These tips will help improve camera performance.
It is important to determine battery integrity to make sure that your camera works smoothly. You may perform a short record time test through these instructions.
Should you get a runtime that is significantly shorter than the expected battery life, despite you using a recommended SD card and the camera being updated to the latest firmware, let our Support team know. This way, they can help you with the next steps. You may reach them through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs .
