I am having the same issue. I found an old thread on anther site that said try turning on cellular upload - that only worked for a couple of videos, and it is stalled again.

Hello @fleetexper75, @chrishart7, and @specspidey1977. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with uploading your files to the GoPro PLUS cloud. We'd like to gather more details so we can help you best. 

 

How are you uploading your files to PLUS? 

Are you all uploading regular videos, or are the media captured using other modes (Time Lapse, Time Warp, 360)?

When checking on the app or your computer, are the 3.0+ GB files split into chapters? 

 

If you can, see if uploading through other methods will help.  

Please note that if it is a chaptered file, it can only be uploaded using Auto Upload with the camera as a hub and through Quik for desktop. 

 

Let us know what you find out. Thanks!

Regular videos, from 100MB to 3,5GB.

I tried upload by the app, by the website using the videos storaged in my computer, and by the website using the videos storaged in my GoPro.

2 of 20 videos were uploaded, even trying to upload one by one.  Fortunately I´m still on trial version of Plus, so I stil can change my mind if no solution is given....

@danielstédile, sorry to hear about the trouble. Upload time is dependent on multiple factors, namely your network speed and the file size of your content. If you are using a wireless network, ensure that your device has a stable Wi-Fi connection. 

 

You can try Auto Upload (HERO5 Session and newer). Once it is set up on your camera and GoPro App, you can connect the GoPro camera to a wall charger with an output of 5V 1A (5V 2A maximum) and when your camera is sufficiently charged, the Auto Upload will start.

Ho provato sia l'impostazione automatica che manuale, con wi fi e videocamera collegata al carica batterie sia da desktop PC una volta scaricato su di esso e aggiunto il contenuto, un file alla volta, arrivato in fondo al caricamento si blocca tutto. I file sono di dimensione media intorno ai 3/3.5 gb. Insomma devo appurare che non è che funziona molto bene questo servizio e anche le applicazioni non se la cavano meglio. Si può migliorare?

I´m using wired network, which I believe there should have no issues uploading as it is very stable instead of using a wireless network, right?   And I´m uploading directly from my camera connected by cable to the computer (camera connected by cable to computer, and computer connected by cable to the internet).  In this scenario I believe there should have ZERO problems, which is not the case.

Hola a todos,

hace un par de semanas compre la hero 8 también tengo el mismo problema. La noche de Año Nuevo grabó videos y los subió a la nube al día siguiente, desde ese día no he podido volver a subir videos a la nube. También estoy con la versión de prueba por 30 días y hasta ahora no me ha resultado. La verdad es que estoy un poco decepcionado de mi compra, porque a pesar de que la cámara es muy buena, los archivos presentan mucha dificultad para su manipulación. Ojalá alguien de la comunidad tenga respuestas, de lo contrario la cámara no sería de mucha utilidad. Saludos a todos y gracias desde ya.

I've been trying to upload video clips that I've taken with my DJI drone.  I can get some small files to upload, but I can't get the larger files over 1gb to work.

Hello Everyone. We got word from the team that an update has been implemented to fix the issue of not being able to upload large/chaptered files to the PLUS cloud. If you can, please test again to see if there is an improvement. Try testing using any of these methods

Still the same crap, I can´t upload files more than 1Gb.  This is outrageous with customers.

I will cancel my subscription, please get in touch with me when problem is really fixed.

Mi dispiace ma questo servizio continua a funzionare malissimo. Ho caricato da browser su Mac alcune foto e un video.

Per alcuni istanti si vedevano le icone. Ho anche fatto partire il video per qualche secondo. Poi improvvisamente le icone di questi ultimi files sono sparite. Sull'app del mio iPhone si vede tutto, ma sul Mac continuano a non vedersi anche dopo 4 ore.

Non appena avrò recuperato tutti i files farò la disdetta.

Amico stiamo perdendo tempo. Il sistema non ha mai funzionato bene. Il problema peno che siano le diverse piattaforme che confluiscono sul data base. Io ho caricato alcuni file dalla camera o dall'iPhone e si vedono. Poi ho caricato dal browser, o Chrome o Firefox su Mac, e si sono visti solo per un istante. Adesso non esistono. Però se apro l'app su iPhone si vedono tutti i files.

Penso che fino a quando non si affidano a programmatori bravi e competenti è meglio fare disdetta

Hello, @pietroa7821. Do the media that you see on the app match with the media that you see on your media library through plus.gopro.com? The different methods of uploading media to PLUS (auto upload with the camera as a hub, mobile upload, manual upload) have different upload rates depending on factors including size of the media, network connection, among others. It would be up to the user to choose which method would be most preferred. 

 

Lately, our PLUS team has implemented a fix that made the manual upload via plus.gopro.com much more efficient. Whichever method you choose though, you should be able to see and access the same media content. If you are not seeing such, please check if there is any common resolution setting or file size that could be causing them to be unseen. Let us know what you find out. Thanks!

Hi, after a full day, miraculously tonight I see all the files also through Firefox browser on Mac.
I think your system is not stable. It is probably not yet structured to support this huge load.

I always use the same devices and the same fiber connection, but there are periods that the system works well and other days that it works badly.
However I hope that the situation improves, otherwise I will cancel the subscription.
