GoPro PLUS Interface Date Bug

I subscribed to a trial of GoPro PLUS on Monday and uploaded some footage to the cloud. Some of the files I uploaded had an incorrect date, due to edits I made before uploading. I was pleased to discover that I can change the date right from the web interface. For the first few files, it worked just fine. The date I set was the date that it moved to. However, after those few files, it started behaving strangely and changing the date to 1 day before what I set. For example, if I set the date as July 17, it would show up in the Media Library and the information view as July 16. The only place it shows July 17 is when I go to change the date again, in which case the dropdown still shows the 17th. While a day may not seem like much, media from the same day can now be split across 2 days, which is far from ideal. I'm already quite unhappy with GoPro's live support as they couldn't help me at all, saying "we don't have any specialist who can avoid bug". I've attached a video that shows what's going on. I had to cut off the bottom for privacy, but no crucial information was cut off.

Re: GoPro PLUS Interface Date Bug

@ianbogue this is an interesting observation. The behavior you are seeing is because of how the date/time is stored. Since we only provide for date in the dropdown, it is set to midnight GMT. So, depending on the time of the day, your date groupings might vary based on where you are. We can probably look to providing an option for adding timestamps and a timezone as well in that interface. Thanks for your feedback.
