quick release base Hero 8 [ New ]

I bought my goPro (Hero 8)  about a month ago. I bought the "handler" floating hand grip, and on first use the quick release base snapped. I've looked on the GoPro site and amazon but can't find just the base...is there anywhere I can get this replacement part (or several if the parts are this brittle) without having to buy other accessories/items.
