I purchased a Quik key that did not work at all. Then I got it replaced and this one connects and tries to show thumbnails. They are dark grey with no image and won’t download anything. I wish I had come and read this forum before I purchased one, it appears they are very problematic. So as far as I can tell, there is no fix, just the usual “redownload software, erase the card and try again”. I guess I will be taking this one back as well. It’s a shame for such a great company like Gopro to release a product that has so many issues. I have tried 2 different cards, 2 different iPads and 2 different iPhones. All the same issue. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope.....

I have been using the Gopro app for a long time and not had the problem with any files prior to getting the Quik key. The only reason I got it was for quicker file transfers than using the wifi link. So it’s not the file resolution, it’s software I would say since it crashes when trying to load and transfer.
What SD card are you using?
If you are using a recommended card and it's still the same, it may be on the unit itself.
Have you tried transferring the same files to your phone from your camera?
If it's still the same, you may refer to the same store/channel you got it from.
