I know it's old but I have a GoPro Hero 2 that I've had for years but never really used. I'm now determined to get to grips with it and buy some extras. I have the LCD screen and have just bought a brand new wifi bacpac with separate remote from eBay. It was boxed and as far as I'm aware had never been opened as all sticky tabs were untouched. The problem I have is that although the bacpac looks like it's charging when plugged into my laptop, as soon as you disconnect, it just dies and won't switch back on again. I think this is known as "bricked". I have downloaded two separate versions of GoPro Studio now and I'm still having no joy. I can't register anything either although I did seem to perform a software update on the bacpac but it still won't power up when disconnected. What do I need to do? Help, this is so frustrating 😟

I am going through exactly the same problem as you. From what I can see early on - is that perhaps GoPro no longer want to support PacPac. Hmmm.....
Not very good. I am going to keep on trying for a while and see where I get to. Did you have any joy?

nope - still hoping for some help at some point - some how. Firstly is it clear that GoPro no longer support wifi BacPac for Hero2 - or have I just imagined that? Do I need to register the (new) PacPac for it to be able to work?
