The Standard Frame (for HERO Session™ cameras) broke during normal use

Hey!

As subject states my Hero (4) Session standard frame broke during normal clipping/unclipping with no phisical damage. I'm not really an extreme sports person I just use my camera to record when I walk outside. I don't recall droping it even once.

One time when I clipped the camera in I heard a quite unsual sound and later noticed tiny cracks on the housing (frame). After a couple of more clipping/unclipping it came of completely.

 

I wonder if my case qualifies for a free part replace or should I just buy a new frame.

 

I tried using Live Chat support but there are no free agent at any time I try.
