The Handler (New vs Old) [ New ]

I just bought the hero 8 black and The Handler came with the package.

I don't understand why GoPro makes this floating hand grip so big.  I have the old floating hand grip and its a lot smaller!

It's not a big deal but any benefits for the new one over the old one?

Hello @garbun0629. Aside from keeping your GoPro afloat better than ever before, the (new) Handler has a quick release base making it easy to switch between mounts. It also has a larger bright orange cap piece vs the old - easier to spot if you ever drop it in the water.
