So i bought my hero 6 two month ago and also got a Super suit housing for diving. I dive a lot so that's the main reason to buy a go pro. In normal dives (10-20m) the camera and the housing works perfect but when i go between 25-30m i notice a orangeish glow on the center bottom of the back screen. This effects goes away when i go up but it seem to be due pressure of the super suit against the screen. Beside of this there's no lekeage of any sort and the super suits works well (buttons and everything).
I'm not sure if this is normal. It seems to me that a new camera and housing shouldn't behave like this given that it's supposed to be prepared to reach 60m (i don't want to even think what will happen to the screen there). I tried with differents lids but the sames happen. I belive that if i continue using it and keep pressing the screen i can cause some serious damage to the camera and i don't want that.
It's this something that is known ?

I have not encountered such issue. The SuperSuit is tested to work up to a depth of 60m so long as it is sealed correctly.
How are the recorded videos/photos? Are you getting any issues on the image?

Hi aragon, thanks you for your answer. The images/videos filmed on that deep look alright, nothing out of normal. This happens all the times i go 30m. I always made sure that i'm fitting my go pro correcty into the super suit.

Thank you for posting back. Good to know that the quality of images you capture with the camera is good. It is highly likely that the glow is due to greater pressure at greater depth. But as you pointed out, there should not be such an effect as SuperSuit is to keep the camera unaffected by pressure as you dive deeper until 60 meters. If this has always been the case at 25 meters and deeper, we would like to make sure that the SuperSuit is in really good condition so as not to impact the camera and your footage should you need to dive deeper.
