Re: Remo Remote will not charge or power on

Sadly...from my short experience with GoPro...and their lack of response to these reports....I think you are right. Refund and go elsewhere......and spread the word with the experiece you have had. I sure will about my experience

Re: Remo Remote will not charge or power on

Hi @jb12876,

Our support team would be happy to help you out with this. Unfortunately as this is a Community Support Hub there is not a lot we can do here as this is where users can seek help from other users, share tips and tricks, and share content.

If you get in touch with our team by Phone or Chat they should be able to take care of you!

The hours of operations are as follows:

Sunday

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Monday

6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Tuesday

6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Wednesday

6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Thursday

6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Friday

6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Saturday

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

(GMT-08:00) Pacific Standard Time (America/Los_Angeles)

Here is the list of Phone numbers:

Re: Remo Remote will not charge or power on

Have you actually tried to contact GoPro? https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs
I started a chat yesterday and was connected to a rep almost immediately.

Re: Remo Remote will not charge or power on

Well if only that were TRUE....but sadly it ISN'T

Show me a CHAT link that work for customers that are just that ....CUSTOMERS.

Your CHAT link only works if you have some form of support contract

Nice way to treat folk.

You're not winning me over - I'm about to return all this mighty expensive kit as it simply ISN'T FIT FOR PURPOSE and there's no way to get a written record of a CHAT with support. I'm not into support phone calls....it's all blah blah blah and no delivery...broken promises....waste of time and money

Re: Remo Remote will not charge or power on

Here's the response from "CHAT"

"Chat is currently unavailable for you."

"Chat support for customers who purchased GoPro Care and GoPro Plus is available 24 hours a day."

Nice.

Forget the large bulk of customers and just speak to the few that forked out for your support contract.....which I can see folk definitely need to factor in as this kit is going to need an awful lot of support if this is how DAY ONE goes.

Re: Remo Remote will not charge or power on

I wouldn't want to be the poor guy that you do eventually speak to!

I realise that you're p'ed off, but GoPro's support have been really good. Phone them or use chat to contact them, it's easy enough if you follow the instrations, they will do what they've done for the rest of us, replace your device.

Good luck
