I purchased my Remo remote when I bougth my GoPro Hero Black 5 on May 23rd 2018. I used it for approx 5 month during our competitive season. I stored my GoPro & remote for the winter ( on my computer desk). When our season started this March 2019 the Remo no longer will charge. When I pluig in you see the red light blink once then ot goes off. After 8 hours of charging the green light never comes on and you cannot turn on the Remo remote.
What I tried so far:
- I tried several different power sources.
- I tried a different USB C cable (both of the cables I have charge up the GoPro & my MAC laptop with no problems)

After I had posted my issue with the REMO remote. I received a link to speak with a support tech who was just awesome in assisting me. We first ran through some troubleshooting which confirmed the device was defective. Thereafter, they offered an RMA with verification of my purchase. All in all it was a great experience and went pretty quick to get everything sorted out. The Tech Jaydi was a pleasure to work with. very professional and polite. The Tech made everything easy and painless. In just minutes I received a handful of emails with all the info to process my RMA and they will replace the REMO with their newest GoPro remote. They even sent me a link for significant discount of the GoPro Hero 7. Which I though was a nice touch. Thank you again GoPro.

After a bit of consideration. I decided to go ahead an purchase the Hero Black 7 using the discount I was provied after my support issue was so prefectly resolved. I was like...why not. The products are great coupled with outstanding custmer support. That is a a company, product and support I appreciate and can rely on if anything happens with my new GoPro.
