I love my Gopro, been using it on my motorcycles. Lately change my bike for a Bmw 2016 R1200Rt, I am having issues with
a camera holder. My Needs are to stabilise the camera and have it easy acces so I can turn on and off the camera while riding.
what would you propose fir a good set up. The bmw handle bars do not have much available space and are not tubular.
thank you very much for your expertise

If you want to stabilize with the Karma Grip you can still mount on the side fairing but you should get the extension cable. Put a mount on the gas for the Grip handle and you will have access to the camera.
A few notes about using the mounts.
Always make sure they are applied to a clean dry surface at room temperature. I always wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry first.
Apply pressure for as long as possible. No less than one minute and up to 24 hours if possible.
Do not use the mount for at least 24 hours and do not expose to heat, cold, or humidity during that time.
Always use a tether.
Use caution if the mount has been exposed to excessive heat.
The mounts can be removed with a hair dryer on high heat. Keep this in mind when using the mounts. If they are exposed to similar environment, they may become weak (again, always use a tether).
With all of that being said, I've never had a mount fail me except in the early days when I attempted to use one on a pourous surface (soft top surfboard). If the surface is smooth, non porous, and clean, the mounts are very strong.
