Karma grip. Buttons not working .but on/off is working, stabilizer working too [ New ]

I have the same issue with grip and Karma. Very frustraiting to say the least.

• Bought a new Lexar - LSDMI128CBNL1000R micro SD card. A GoPro approved card!
• Formatted it.
• Downloaded the latest update and copied it to the micro SD card.
• Put the micro SD into Hero 5 and it updated. Got the check mark in the circle!
• Double check on camera and it says version number 02.60
• Put the Hero 5 into stabilizer, then into Karma and fired up controller and Karma.
• Swipe up on controller and it still says: No camera found - install the camera before flying.
• I manually turn on the camera while installed in the stabilizer and Karma and it now says: Camera not responding - check the connection.
• Checked controller for status of Camera, Stabilizer, Drone and Controller and they all say up to date.
• Factory reset the camera
• Format SD card
• Reload update onto SD card
• Put the micro SD into Hero 5 and it updated. Got the check mark in the circle!
• Double check on camera and it says version number 02.60
• Put the Hero 5 into stabilizer, then into Karma and fired up controller and Karma.
• Swipe up on controller and it still says: No camera found - install the camera before flying.
• I manually turn on the camera while installed in the stabilizer and Karma and it now says: Camera not responding - check the connection. 
• Checked controller for status of Camera, Stabilizer, Drone and Controller and they all say up to date.

The stabilizer is working as it moves in both the Karma and grip when turned on.

The camera works by itself. I can take video, pictures and burst pictures.

The camera does not work in the stabilizer or the grip.

What are the next steps to correct this?

I had this issue with Hero 5 Black and Karma Grip. Turned out to be 3rd party battery. Swapped back to original GoPro battery and Grip started working perfectly again.

I had this problem with gopro 5. I don't know why but problem solved when I changed micro sd card. I had sandisc ultra 64gb. now I have Sandisc extreme pro 64 gb and is working fine.
