My dear Karma has suddenly got serious problems.
First out of nothing gimbal stopped working, also indicates LED red bottom and one white at the top.
So I tried to reset by holding down the start button for 10 sec. No changes, so I tried the til reset by holding the tilt button in for 8-10 sec.
No changes and gimbal still do not respond, yet the GoPro 5 starts and stops.
Therefore I tried a firmware update to see if that could change anything, and the Karma grip update went well. However, firmware update for the gimbal fails again and again. I feel I have tried everything to solve this without any luck. I have only used it for 13-16 months and it has been my favorite camera equipment threated wery carefully. Never dropped in flor or stressed in any way.
Any suggestions or ideas of what to do? I'm so lost without my GoPro and Karma Grip for my youtube

Thank you for your reply. I accept the fact it’s damaged but hard to understand how it happened as I always store/transport it in hard case. Worked perfect last time I used it and next time I take it out of the case it’s suddenly damaged. I just have to buy a new then, but is it possible to only buy the Gimbal?

GoPro does sell the stabilizer separately, but it appears they are out of stock. I think you might want to look for it through other retailers as GoPro recently dropped the price on the Karma products by 40% and I'm pretty sure they are just clearing stock. I don't know, but my guess is that they are not going to be producing the Karma stabilizer anymore. Especially since they exited the drone market.
I added a little foam spacer in my Karma Grip case to ensure that the stabilizer doesn't move when I'm transporting it. If you find a new stabilizer, you might want to try the same.
One thing you definitely should do is contact the GoPro Support Team. They may be able to help you out.
