I updated my Gopro Karma Grip wih the newest firmware with my Mac using quik version 2.3. After the update, the Karma coud not connect to the Gopro5 (the record button didn't work). I have tried to reset the karma by holding the power on button for 15 seconds, and also did the 60 seconds power button reset, all without any luck. In Quik, it shows that the firmware version in my Karma is v.1.51.00.
I knew from some postings that the problem was caused by the Quik ver.2.4. I should download this new version before updating the Karma firmware. I have downloaded the Quik 2.4 now, but it was too late.
Is there any way to make the Karma work again? Any help will be appreciated.

You should perform a manual update on your camera (even if it;s on the latest update) https://gopro.com/update
and make sure you are using one of these cards https://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations
If you have a Torx#4 screwdriver (they are cheap at any hardware store), you can take off the harness and then reseat it. Odds are, this is not the problem, but it wont hurt anything.
If you still cannot get your Grip/camera functioning, contact the GoPro Support Team https://gopro.com/help/PKBContactus
