Hello. I ve a hero 5 black connected with polar h10 heart rate monitor.
In genuary 2017 they said i can overlay heart rate data directly on my video.
Well..i can t see this information on video itself, but only in post production video.
I ve used go pro app to connect the camera and heart rate monitor. Polar beat app to set the ability of the heart monitor to connect to 2 low bluetooth energy devices simultaneously (denied ant connectivity instead).
W8ing for serious and valid answers.
Thank u all in advance.
I know polar and GoPro have discontinued the collaboration...but what is done is done...and i suppose is still true in september 2019.

@nicolab8624, we cannot guarantee this functionality in the app/camera since the Developer Program which provides SDKs to Polar to build connectivity with GoPro cameras has long been discontinued.
We do not have any new information available regarding this matter as of this time.

But the question is: had ever the aforementioned connectivity with polar heart rate monitor devices (I.e. polar h10) been working in the past?
Couz the Bluetooth connection works, I can certify u by photo of my GoPro h5black camera and h10 monitor. BUT besides Bluetooth connection can I overlay heart rate data directly on the videos (GoPro itself had promised that)?
Or the promise simply has aborted.
I am a serious person, not an hater or something similar. I really like GoPro and Polar products

I hope that you are asking the same questions on More than this GoPro and the polar Pro forum. You can always try Reddit and the many other user-created forums.
For now though, I think the safest answer to assume, is No.
