I am very frustrated.... I first tried the smart remote with my 2 gopro's (Hero5 Black) synced up then after 20 minutes it locked up. I couldn't turn it off by any means. The red light on the remote stayed on constantly. I then tried the remote with just a single gopro hero 5 black and it did the same thing. Either replace it, fix it or give me something in return. This was a gift and I am really disappointed because I often shoot with multiple cameras. I reported the error by calling Gopro customer service and the guy said he'd create a ticket and would email me. I never heard back...... and he kept calling me dude..... what the frig kind of customer service is that?
I use the gopros a lot but seriously disappointed in the file numbering system, poor customer service and product that doesn't always work.
On the good side the images and the video are stellar but it's a frustating experience to get the end result.

I am sorry to hear that you are having some issues with you Smart Remote, that is not something that I have personally seen. I was unable to locate a case for you with our Support Team so if you could let me know that I can look into it for you.
