@tonycan, audio is enabled by default in the camera.

 

Just to verify, audio still doesn't work on the videos downloaded to either your mobile device (via GoPro App) or computer. Is this correct?

 

By any chance, are you using Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter and/or any external microphone?

 

As previously suggested, were you able to successfully reinstalled the firmware update of your HERO5 Session? 

If the symptoms persist, please upload a sample raw / unedited footage to your Dropbox or Google drive and provide us the shared link so we can look into the details here.
