I just got my dual battery charger and it won't charge through my 'USB Type-C, Anker Premium 5-Port 60W USB Wall Charger PowerPort+ 5 USB-C with Power Delivery for Apple MacBook, Nexus 5X / 6P and PowerIQ for iPhone, iPad, Samsung & More', that charger doesn't have a part number, but it is one of two that Anker makes, this being the 60W that can charge my notebook. It charges with a USB-C to USB-A, like the cable the GoPro comes with on the same charger but not when plugged into the USB-C port.
Anyway, my GoPro Hero 5 charges fine plugged into the USB-C port through this charger, the charging indicator on the Hero 5 screen truns from white to green, but why if my Hero 5 works fine is the Dual Charger not working with it?
Has anyone tried plugging their dual charger into their Macbook USB-C charger? Does it work? Or will it only quick charge with the overly expensive GoPro charger that only comes with one other USB-A port? I find this a little silly since this would only break USB-C standards.

Yes, it does in fact work with Apples 61W charger, according to this site: https://gtrusted.com/how-the-gopro-hero5-black-is-charged-by-the-apple-61w-usb-c-power-adapter-using...
Maybe I just got a defective charger? I got it at REI so exchanging it will be easy. I don't live near a REI, about 4 hours away, but I always go there. I'm going to take it back and exchange it, see if the new one works with this charger, and if not I guess I'll return the GoPro charger and wait for an updated version. This Anker charger has excelent reviews, charges my computer fine, if the GoPro charger doesn't work with it it is flawed and needs an update.

To ultimately determine if you have a bad USB C port on that Anker charger --- try a USB C to USB C cable and see if your Hero 5 charges then. If not, then yes the C port on the Anker is dead!

The USB-C port on the Anker isn't dead, it charges my Hero 5, it even turns the charge indicator on the screen in the upper right corner green. It also charges a Macbook. So that two devices that charge through the port and one, the GoPro Dual Charger, that doesn't.
I'm plugging the Charger into my computer's USB-C port to see if it charges quickly or if it is only requesting 5 volts from the port. I have my Hero 5 recording it in case I miss it.
How fast is the charger soposed to charged when plugged into USB-C? It says upto 45% faster.

Yeah, I thought maybe it wouldn't supply the right power but looking at the spec sheet it supplies the same power as the Macbook charger, so it should work. Both the Hero 5 and Scession 5 can be charged through the Macbook charger but I can't find any sites that test the Dual Charger with the Macbook charger. I guess most poeple don't buy the Dual Charger, just have a stack of batteries and charge them one at a time with their Hero 5 at night.
