Go Pro Case doesnt fit mount [ New ]

Hi GoPro - I bought a GoPro Hero 8 Package (includes head mount for ski helmet, stand, etc) plus I bought a waterproof housing case.  When I go to attach the case to the mount the screw alignment is off therefore it wont fit.  (See pics)  Tried both ways round but still doesnt align.   Your thoughts?  Seems to be a design flaw?

Tu as oublié d'enlever la pièce de protection en plastique.

La petite pièce carrée qui est autour de la fixation.

Cette pièce permet de présenter la GoPro dans son boîtier.

Enlève la pièce, elle ne te servira à rien avec le boîtier.

La pièce en question ne te servira plus à rien.

Si tu l'enlève, tu pourras mieux orienter ta GoPro sur son support de fixation, et choisir ainsi le bon angle de vue.

Hi There - Thanks for the comment! Not sure I understand your reply, if I remove the the clear 'tabs' from the Plastic Housing (so that the tabs from the bottom of the camera go through the housing into the mount) then I lose the waterproof / integrity of the case?
