Dear GoPro team. Like many others I tried to order a spare battery or a dual charger with battery for my new Hero 8 through your webstore. And like many others, I got the message that they can't be shipped (in my case to Germany). I read now in a GoPro reply in this forum that this is because of FAA safety regulations. Sorry, but this is completely irrelevant/not plausible here in Europe because 1) GoPro is apparently shipping via UPS from the Netherlands and 2) I can order batteries from other shops in Germany and other European countries without such limitation. Therefore, unless there is a strange "lex GoPro", it rather seems like your shop setup is not properly localised. Actually, the fact that it does not accept proper German spellings of names on credit cards seems to hint into the same direction. I wanted to raise this within your Chat but despite what's advertized this is not a 24-7 service for GoProPlus subscribers and by the way currently "unavailable" anyway. Very disappointing. Fix that store, GoPro, if you want to do business in Europe!
I have just come off of chat with go pro and they tell me it is their courrier UPS that refuses to carry them, they are looking into other carriers.
