Does Smart Remote work with Legacy Hero HD 1080 [ Edited ]

Hi, 

Does the Smart Remote work with legacy Hero HD 1080?

I have the wifi backpack and the original wifi remote but the battery life isn't very good.

I'm told the smart remote has 40% better battery life.

Can this be made to work with the Legacy Hero HD (1080 version) ?

Soryy, the Smart Remote doe snot work with the HERO HD camera. The pairing instructions in this article mention the camera models compatible with the Smart Remote. Thanks!

I did see that article, but was hoping there was a chance that my camera was left off the list because its fairly old.

Love the fact that you are still using your HERO HD. I have one as well and keep it in my glove compartment. Still comes in handy from time to time. Have you ever thought of updating? You don't know what you're missing.
