Hi all !
I am looking for a blue water filter for my gopro Hero black 5 and was wondering what the difference is between the “Blue Water Dive Filter” and the “Blue Water Snorkel Filter”. Is the filter coloring the same or what is the difference ?
I would be using it for both scuba diving and snorkeling

Each of those filters are going to serve a different purpose and will have different colors.
The Blue Water Dive Filter: https://goo.gl/jQC59B is for use with the Super Suit and is meant for diving.
The Blue Water Snorkel Filter: https://goo.gl/hRg1MN Is meant to go directly on the camera and is meant for use in shallow blue water.
Hope that helps!

It's unclear from the snorkel filter description that it's not intended to be used with a housing:
Description says: "Presses into place directly on the camera, no tools or housing required"
It says that housing is not required, it doesn't say that filter is incompatible with the housing.
A shop in my location has written in the item description that it's compatible with the housing.
It would be good to fix the ambiguity in the description.

It means that filter can be used with camera without the housing, it doesn't say that filter is incompatible with the housing. As an example, there could be some adapter for different frame size, there are such solutions on the market from other brands.

I can't agree that GoPro products have good descriptions. E.g. there are lots of marketing bla-bla-bla and there are no specifications for cameras. There is much to wish for.
As for the filter, I think the "no tools or housing required" part of the pretty short description is confusing. Not required doesn't mean incompatible.
