Crack in hinge of housing [ New ]

The housing of my Hero (2018)has a crack in the hinge. Does this or can this in the future affect the housings waterproofing? Thank you for any advice.

Hi @agilestoke40068,

The Hero(2018) camera on its own is waterproof. If you are saying that there is a crack in the Frame; the case that you use to mount the camera to accessories, it should not affect the waterproof capability of the camera.

I don’t know why but I’m unable to copy and paste the photo I’ve taken. Perhaps you can advise? The crack runs along the length of the hinge.
