My ARMTE-001 ( two button wifi remote ) powers ON when connected to charging cable.
Once the remote is pluged in to the charger and after one minute, remote wakes up, starts Wifi and wakes up Hero 5 ( does not start recording ) just keeps it wake. This will then drain Hero 5 battery in few hours.
Any idea how to prevent this remote to auto power ON when on charger ?

@rapidlight78587, thanks for posting back with the footage explaining the situation. Have you already gone through resetting the connection settings of the two devices? See if completely resetting the Wi-Fi connection settings will help.
Turn off the Wi-Fi Remote and your camera.
Reset the Wi-Fi connections on your camera using the steps here.
Pair the devices:
Power off your remote. Power ON your camera and set it up for pairing using the instructions here.
Now set your camera aside and pick up the remote.
With the remote powered OFF, press and hold the Shutter button on the remote. While continuing to hold the red button, press the white Power button once briefly. The remote will power on and show two arrows moving towards each other. You can let go of the red button at this time. Now the remote is in pairing mode.
At this point, the camera and remote should both show arrows moving towards each other. After one minute or less, the camera and remote should pair.
The remote should now mirror the camera's front LCD screen, indicating that pairing was successful.
Does the problem only happens when the Wi-Fi remote is plugged in to a charger? Try using a different wall plug or connect the remote to a different power outlet. If a secondary charging cable for your Wi-Fi remote is available, see if that will also make any difference.
