3 way mount

I’ve seen a lot of reviews on the three way mount. Some good, some not so good; some complain of the price, some complain that it breaks far to easily. I’d like to see some people tell me what they think, good or bad about the 3 way mount.

Had a cheaper 3rd party 3-Way, dropped it from my car seat onto the ground and it broke. Got another and was filming with my kid, he dropped it and it broke. Got a GoPro 3-way and have used it extensively for about 2 1/2 years and haven't had any issues (and yes, it's been dropped and abused much more than the other two).

The biggest issue is the proprietary screws. If you lose them, you need to contact the GoPro Support Team for a replacement as they aren't something you can pick up at a hardware store. However, if you just keep track of your stuff, this shouldn't be an issue.

Word is that Gopro will release a updated 3-way this year.

My screw fell out in the sea and I almost lost the camera. I contacted GoPro and they sent me a bag of extras. I like the 3 way, lots of things all in one package. A tad bulky but I’ve reas the shorty is not good.

Granted, it isn’t long so don’t be to critical lol. Just getting use to the GoPro and all it’s features.
