Webcam/Hero9 Win10 2-PCs One works/One doesn't...How to tell why?[ New ]
Received a brand Hero9 today. Downloaded the latest webcam app (v184.108.40.2067). Upon setting up the GoPro app on my phone it updated the new Hero9 to v1.22.
I was struggling to get the app to work on my work PC. So I tried it on my personal PC. Worked just fine....w/the supplied cord. Seemed to prefer the 3.1 usb port...but also worked on 2.0 and 3.0 ports. I have no idea what spec the cord is that comes with the GoPro???
My guess is that it's a firewall/domain/network issue. However, I have no way to figure out what the issue is...that I know of. I tried the GoPro chat help...and it was great...just limiting.
I have attached the debug info if anyone can use it to help. My work IT dept is very overwhelmed and not a ton of help right now. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!
I do have admin rights on my work PC. It's a decent speced CAD PC:

Re: Webcam/Hero9 Win10 2-PCs One works/One doesn't...How to tell why?[ New ]
Definitely a firewall/security issue on my work pc. I was able to go into the security software app and temporarily allow the network connection. It worked instantly once I did that. Waiting for my IT manager to permanently allow the GOPro Webcam network connection.
However, the jury is still out on working with my VPN (Cisco AnyConnect v3.1.04063). It seemed to work with the VPN as long as I allowed the network connection via security software....as well as started and closed a preview....before I started the VPN. If I don't, once the VPN is started I can't even see the GOPro Webcam network connection in the security software anymore. So I'm curious to what happens once GOPro Webcam network connection is permanently allowed.
