A very nice idea for the GoPro Labs firmware would be the possibility to set the hdmi output to a fixed resolution. Very often I use the hdmi to view the footage oder actual motive on a bigger screen. Sadly the screen supports 1080p, whilst this looks great it uses a lot of battery and generates a lot of heat.
If there would only be the option to set the output to fixed 720 or 480 it would be no problem at all. I have heard of others with the same "problem".
