I renamed my Hero 8 to CAM3 in order to have that prefix in the file label and differentiate my cameras.
However after doing this, the camera does not save any files on my micro SD card? I press record and stop, then try to review the files on the screen but there is nothing recorded. Connected to a computer, I can see there are no files generated at all. This issue is solved once I switch back to defualt.
Am I doing something wrong? I want to be able to create a distinct file name for each camera with a unique prefix. However I also read in the description that the files will not be able to be viewed or worked with within the app? Is this true? Am I still able to view it on the GoPro itself? Can someone help please. Thank you!
