I'm not finding information on what TABLETS i can use with the fusion. I just want to install the app and control the camera like i can on my galaxy note 8. Is it hardware? Not sure what the hurdle is, but I'd like a list other than what gopro states on their compatibility page. Their page does not cover any tablets and is not very thorough. Thanks to whomever can answer this for me or shed more light.

You can find the full list of compatible devices for the GoPro Fusion Here:
That is the full list and that is the reason you won't find another list anywhere or any reference to what tablets control the Fusion (hint, none do). I really hope that GoPro can improve their software and expand control to other devices. I have a Galaxy TAB S3 and I'd love to be able to control the Fusion and edit video on the larger screen.

We do our best to ensure that the GoPro App works on every device but this is nearly impossible due to the nature of the OS. Android is a fragmented operating system with a myriad of devices running different hardware and software specs. These inconsistencies make it extremely difficult to ensure that the app will work flawlessly on every device.
As we continue to improve stability, image processing and overall performance on the platform, additional Android devices will become supported. Please watch out for further updates. For reference, check on https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/fusion-supported-devices.
