"No media yet"

I've had my hero 5 black for about 3 months now, and have been viewing my media on capture app perfectly fine. Last night we went to view our footage on my phone and the most recent footage showing was from over a week ago. We have been filming every day, so we are missing a lot of footage. We also looked on the app maybe two days ago and it was still there. I just tried to film another video on the GoPro to check whether it would show up and the app is now saying no media yet, so all of our media is gone. It is still definitely on the camera/sd card, we just cannot view it. We have updated the software and tried on two seperate phones. Still no luck.. also we are travelling in Thailand currently so no access to a computer, just our two phones and the camera! Please help!

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.  Just for clarification, are you able to play the files directly on the camera?

 

If you are using a phone with an SD card slot, insert the SD card and test if you will be able to view the files.

 

If you are able to view the files. Try to un-pair the camera to your phone and pair it again.
