iphone xs won't connect to hero 5 session on the app

Hi,


I've recently switched to an iphone xs and I can't connect my hero session 5 up to the app. I've removed the app, removed wifi and bluetoooth connections and reset the wifi on the gopro several times.  Each time the wifi connects and then the blue tooth pairs but then on the app it just shows "connecting" for several minutes and then it says it fails to find the device.

To isolate further, are you still able to connect the camera to a different mobile device?
