Running iOS 13.1.2
GoPro Hero 3
Firmware version 3.0
iPhone App version 6.1
I have been able to get it to connect after restarting the phone, deleting the app, reloading the app, changing the WiFi name and password, restarting the phone in between.... so I really don’t know what triggered it to work. Now I can control the camera with my iPhone but I’m having difficulty getting the cameras view to display on the phone. it worked once but I haven’t been able to get it to work again. It’s frustrating because everything worked fine before and I didn’t have to jump through all of these hoops to use it.

Funny thing is i tried to connect it to my iPhone X with iOS 13.2 b1 to my GoPro Hero 3+ Black, and is did connect and could change some settings. But after a minute the connection got lost, the iPhone says connected but the GP app can't find it.
So did a factory reset, i manual reinstall the latest firmware and wifi settings, after the reinstall of the latast firmware it just works.
So maybe this would work for you as well.

@superapex61756, sorry to hear about the trouble. Have you already gone through the suggested troubleshooting steps?
An update for the GoPro App (v6.1) has been recently released. Please ensure to have the latest version of the app and iOS on your phone installed. Then have your mobile device restarted before attempting to pair the camera with the app again.
