Which camera are you using? Do you have the latest version of Quik for desktop on your Mac computer? is this a recent occurrence? Would love to hear back from you.

I have a Hero Session, without any GoPro software installed.
I would just like to be ablme to import videos with Image Capture, as I used to do. But it works randomly :(
Any way I can reset or restart the cam ?

Camera Reset is available only when your camera is connected to the GoPro remote. You can only do a reset of the camera Wi-Fi settings on the camera itself. Since Quik is not installed on your Mac, using an SD card adapter or card reader could be an option.

I had an issue of the gopro desktop app not recognizing my gopro. I noticed that the android file transfer would auto pop up each time I connected the gopro. So I disabled the android FT and now the app recognizes the camera just as it should.
