black screen on iPhone for 360° video[ New ]
I have called customer support twice with no resolution. The two reps I spoke with acted like they weren't even aware the 360 video was compatible with the iPhone, which I know it is. I have a MAX with the lastest firmware and an iPhone 12 Pro with the latest iOS, 14.3. When playing 360 video in the GoPro App, I only see black video but I do hear the audio.
To resolve I've tried restarting my iPhone, uninstalling and reinstalling the GoPro App, changing the 360 video resolution on the MAX, re-formatting the SD in the MAX, successfully verifiying that the 360 works okay on my iMac, iPad, and the MAX itself.
I have read on another thread that resetting all settings on the iPhone should resolve the issue, but I have a significant amount of custom settings on my iPhone and find that undesireable to say the least.
Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry about your issue but as you said, the only fix we have is the following
GoPro Max - black screen on iPhone for 360° videos
iPhone / iPad
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
SOLVES THE FOLLOWING ISSUE
Preview Camera Content or Imported Video to the iPhone/iPad
BLACK VIDEO SCREEN / AUDIO OK
This has been reported by several users who were facing this issue.
