Vielen Dank schon mal ;)

thank you for your quick answere.
Ok I've already noticed this :) So I need to do a workaround, always. Download the Pictures from the camera to the app, save the pictures to the Gallery, move the parts to the sd card and delete the pics in the app to get free space again?
In this case I'll need the double amount of free sprace on my local drive. After saving the parts to my smartphone or tablet via app. The picture or clip is still somewhere hidden on my local drive. The app only generates a copie of the parts. (I've just checked it)
That's why I've hoped that you could tell me, where the app saves the parts after importing them from the camera to the app.
Thank you in advanced.

After a day of recording, I swap my camera battery for a new one so I have a full charge (if you don't have a second battery, you will need about 50% or more charge in your battery). I then turn the camera on, open the GoPro app and either pull down to have it search for new media, or if it's already detected the media click yes so the app can get it.
I subscribe to GoPro Plus so I leave the media in the app so it can upload to the cloud. Depending on the amount of media, this can take about 1-2 hours. Alternatively, sometimes I just plug my camera into a wall charger and allow the camera to auto upload to the cloud. Once it's done uploading to the cloud via the app, or if I'm allowing the camera to do it via the auto cloud upload during charge, I move to the next step.
Once the media is moved to the app, I usually watch the auto created Quik Story as a way to quickly see parts of my media. I usually just upload this to YouTube so I have a recent memory video. I don't worry if it's perfect or not, I just like having a record and since it's already done for me, it's pretty convenient. Since you are limited on space, you may need to skip this if you have a lot of media.
At the top of the GoPro app it shows the recently collected media in a preview window with (...). I press the ... And select view media. This opens the window showing my recent media. I then go through my media and save locally to my device the videos and pictures that I want to keep. Once done, I select and delete the recent media from the app (keep in mind I also have a backup copy of everything uploaded to the GoPro Plus cloud).
Once done, I usually create a custome Quik Story and upload it to Instagram, Facebook, and/or YouTube.
I then open my phone's media gallery and open the folder with the GoPro media, select Move, and then copy the media to my phone's SD card.
I then open Quik and select any Quik Stories that have been created and delete them. I then sent the cog on the upper right of the app to go into settings and the select Clear All Media.
This seems like a lot of steps, but it's pretty fast and easy to do.
Alternatively, if I just want to move the media to my phone and skip Quik altogether, I use a microUSB to USB-C adapter (I have an Android phone with USB-C, yours may be different) and move the media over manually. I use the GoPro Quik Key, but you can use 3rd party adapters as well (3rd party just don't integrate with the GoPro app like the Quik Key does). You can also just use the camera/phone connection to transfer, but it's not as fast and takes a second step.
If I use the adapter, it transfers to the phone media gallery. From here, I just move the media to the phone's SD card.

thank you for your detailed answer. Unfortunately, this doesn't answer my initial question.
Do you or does someone know where the app saves the files on my local drive?
