What phone does the GoPro app performs good?

[ New ]

Hello guys,

I'm using a xiaomi phone with specs Octa-core Cortex-A53, Snapdragon 615, Adreno 405 and I can't even finish editing a 5 seconds clip from Quik.

Also, once I thought my hero 5 broke after taking it swimming, because right after I couldn't connect to the camera through Capture, and when I tried reinstalling the app I then was able to connect.

I'm considering to upgrade my phone, looking at iPhone SE right now because of the handiness (literally). Do you think it will be good enough for amateur video editing?

Thanks.

@sunateh13, the application's performance will also depend on the mobile device's system and power. Please make sure your mobile device, app, and camera are on their current versions. Additionally, there are some troubleshooting suggestions here that will help.

As for the app's compatibility, it can vary depending upon your camera model, camera capture settings, mobile device operating system and power. For further details, see GoPro Mobile Apps Compatibility.
