Video file reports 0 bytes but plays the full video on the mobile app

One of my video files reports that it has no data (0 Bytes) yet it will play when connected through wifi to my phone on the capture app from start to finish yet wont play when i either try to find it through the windows desktop app or when i manually insert the SD card into my computer, i have tried downloading the video through the mobile app onto my iphone but i then get a popup that informs me i cant download or share the 720p 60fps video through my phone. I was wondering if anyone had run into this issue or had any suggestions on how to fix it.

The Camera is a GoPro Hero 3 silver.

Re: Video file reports 0 bytes but plays the full video on the mobile app

There are actually two files created on the Hero 3. The full sized mp4 and a second smaller low resolution lvr. The lvr file is used for playback on a mobile device. The mp4 must have been corrupted somehow, which is why it isn't working. The Capture app is playing the lvr.

Okay, so is there any way to recover the video or is all lost?
