Now with my Samsung J7 when I make compilations with GO Pro quick mobile app there is a problem.. The photo/video compilation plays normal while I'm editing but once I save the compilation so i can post and send it, the individual video clips freeze for several seconds at the end of each clip before jumping into the next photo or clip, thus ruining the compilation.
Is this just a samsung J7 not being able to handle it, and if so is there anything i can do to make it work with this device? Earlier my transferred videos would not work at all on this decice but when i switched from 1440p to 1080p on my gopro they began to work, except for this glitch when making compilations.

I'm sorry about this but it's a known Samsung / Galaxy problem. It's a video decoder issue > not enough video decoder available during transitions hence issue with transtions like you describe.
Sadly we don't have a solution for now > https://community.gopro.com/t5/GoPro-Apps-for-Mobile/Quik-Support-for-Samsung-Phones/m-p/281966

Thanks for letting me know, that sounds like it should be priority #1 for the quick app, there must be a ton of go pro owners with samsungs out there..
Is this being worked on?
Do you have a recommendation for the best alternative,l for now, I tried using power director but its not as good as quick and the video quality wasnt as good when posting to social media.

@bartimus-maximus I understand the frustration and we know there are many Samsung users out there. GoPro has tried to contact Samsung about this but it was inconclusive. Quik is a heavy machine requiring performant devices. Samsung device may be performant but the usage of video decoders is restricted which doesn't allow Quik to function properly.
Recommendation is to avoid using high resolution footage. No 2.7K or 4K, it won't help since Quik output max 1080p anyway.
