Try this:

Turn ON airplace mode

Enable Bluetooth

Retry.

This worked for me.

Why? Bluetooth may somehow help WiFi connecton.

Airplane mode kills cellular...may have sothing to do with profile or securiy.

I am using iOS 12...since GoPro has not tested the app with IOS 14...judging by many complaints here.

Preview works now.

This work with iOS 14 and below...previously I had to use only iOS 12... but unreliable in any case reguardless of O/S.

I can confirm its not GO PRO fault. I also use other streaming services and after reading the airplane mode thing here... it made my other services work again.. example XBOX remote play.... doesnt work on IOS14 but no issues on IOS 13.7... Apple needs to fix this!!!! So i can get it to work on Airplane mode but defeats the purpose when I want to play outside my home network or WIFI....

I believe this issue is tied to iOS 14 has a new 'privacy feature' for wifi networks where it randomizes the iPhone's MAC address. This has broken all kinds of things.  I was able to get my GoPro working by going into the WiFi settings on my iPhone while connected to teh GoPro's wireless network.  Inside each wifi network is an option to turn on/off a Private Address (accessible by tapping the blue 'i' in a circle next to the wifi network.  Disable private access, don't worry about the privacy warning, and reconnect.  You'll probably get a notification about allowing the iPhone to browse the local network - approve that.

Then it shoud all work.

This affects my Hero7 but I imagine it's affecting all models
