Did you download the music from the store because you're a subscriber to Play music, or did you buy said music? If you bought said music, you will have to move it to your media folder. However if you didn't buy it (and just downloaded it to play offline as per subscription), then you won't be able to use said music in your GoPro App as the Play Music app encodes and downloads these songs in it's own seperate folders to avoid illegal copies being made.
You may still have issues using copyrighted music in your video's as not every music company authorizes use of it's music for public use. So not only will importing prove problematic, but even if you post said video's to places like youtube etc, you may be struck with a copyright infringment warning. For the most part this just means that you cannot monetize your video and the copyright holder to the music can insert advertisements on your video. Worst case scenario is you'll receive one of your three strike warnings from youtube.
I'd stick using royalty free music or music directly available through the GoPro Quik App.

If it's showing in Google Drive, that's a cloud drive, the song may not actually be downloaded to your phone.
When you go to select your music options, have scrolled right and selected "My Music" then scrolled right with the arrows above and selected "Music Library". Also is your purchased song actually saved to the Music Library folder in your phone?
