Just to remind you GoPro. You introduce features to make the customer's experience better and more convenient and not yours. I'm perfectly fine if you want to identify painpoints to imprive your products but don't do it at the expense of our convenience so that you can better yours. That's it. I love what GoPro has done and allowed me to do. I've owned and used GoPros since the Hero 3. But Hero 5 is gonna be my last. This is a really important issue that affects how your customers use your products and you're all stubbornly ignoring it and Brushing us off for the sake of data mining and market research.
What happened to "making us better storytellers by capturing our life's experiences"? We can't fully use our GoPros damnit! Why don't you listen and solve this painpoint!?

The only time you need to prompt for login again is when you can reach your servers and the login fails. If you can't reach the servers, just keep storing those pain points and let the app be used offline.

@jays842 - The new version that was released on February 1 allows you to use the app for up to 24 hours without needing to login. If the login is an issue for you, you should update to this latest version.

ANY LOGIN REQUIREMENT IS UNACCEPTABLE
I don't care what they released on Feb 1 or ever if it requires any login other than to the actual gopro device itself and even that is a burden. Somwebody at GOPRO needs to be fired. My wallet is closed until LOGIN GOES AWAY.
