Still Can't Use Quik on Android

My problem is all footage uploads to the cloud, but only shows on the cloud using a PC which means I can't use the Quik App to do quick edits. When I got the Hero 9 first it worked fine but since October nothing.

Got in contact with support and apperantly my phone number does not work for them (have this phone number since 1997)

Anybody able to help before I toss it in the bin.

Hi @skyrunners

 

What phone are you using? What version is the app on?

What error message are you getting when downloading the cloud files on the app?

See if signing in and out of the account and restarting your phone will help.

Samsung S9 and tried Apple 12
App version 10.5.2
No error massage just the media is not showing in the cloud on the phone but login into a PC and the media is showing in the cloud.
Logged in and out powered on off switched Android to ios.
Lost at this point.

How were the files uploaded to the cloud?

Is there a chance the file was just incorrectly dated?

Also, would you mind sharing a screenshot of the Cloud tab in the app?

All media uploaded over wifi with the auto upload when its pluged into the charger.

It is uploading to the cloud just not able to access it in the app.

It all worked fine until GoPro changed the app

Hi,

What happens when you try to download the file to your App?

10.6 has just been released on iOS and it will be shortly on Android as well.
Could you try with this version as well but doing new media too. It's important to check with a new set of media.

Hi the media for Dec 5 is only showing in the cloud on a PC so I have no option to download it in the app.
This is the problem

Could you tell me what's the resolutiong / FPS for those videos. Trying to know if it's a high res issue here maybe? 

Ok I see yes the 5th December isn't showing in the app also... even a log off and log back in doesn't change anything? Phone reboot same?

I'm sorry I've shared this with the team and we are a bit puzzeld.

 

Also note that version 10.6 is available now.

Settings are around 1080 or 2k frame rate about 30fps, never need hi res its just for personal use.

Different phones, android and iOS, regular updates on all devices.

I don't use the GoPro much as it always seems to be some sort of issue.

I have a Garmin Virb and no problems with recordings and it's app so I use it most of the time.

Also use front and rear Cycliq camera/lights with great sucess.

Might try a DJi action camera next to match the drone footage.

App is on v10.5, can't find an update anywere.

Hi can you share with us how the media was offloaded from the camera?  There are several ways to get media from the camera to the cloud.

 

- Connect to the GoPro camera roll using the app and manually download

- Connect to the GoPro camera and use the auto offload option on the camera screen

- Connect to the camera over wired USB

- Connect the camera to a wall charger and auto offload directly from the camera > cloud

 

Also did you do anything to rename the media before uploading it to the cloud?  ie. remove the SD card and change the name of the file?

 

Hopefully, with more information we will be able to help.  Up until now we are unable to reproduce this issue ourselves.
