Sorry for any troubles caused. Let's try to isolate where the issue is.
What camera and SD card are you using?
Do you still remember the resolution used?
Is this happening to all your files? Are you able to share a sample file?
Feel free to post back on this thread.

Thanks for getting back to us with the requested information. Were the clips already stored on your device when the story was created?
Kindly go over the troubleshooting steps on this article: Quik for mobile Crashes
Let us know how it goes.
In addition to this, please be advised of recommended SD cards that work well with your GoPro.

I download the clip from my camera to my mobile phone
Then I open a project at QUIK app and upload the videos to the app.
So the clips are stored on my device than on a memory card.
The original video on a memory card works well, the problem is editing in the project.
What is the recommendation for a memory card and how does it affect the project?

I saw the flickering parts of the Quik Video. Have you tried changing themes that you use for your edits? See if using Lapse or Raw (ones with minimal transition effects) will get rid of the flickering parts. Does the length of the final (edited) video matter? Let us know how it goes.
